Throwback Thursdays: a new series coming your way!

Do you remember when “throwback Thursdays” were all the rage on social media? Everyone posted photos of themselves when they were young, with their brother, or boyfriend, or ridiculous hair style. Everyone, that is, except me.

I’m not a joiner.

But, now that it has faded from a broader social media scene, I’m going to put my own spin on Throwback Thursdays and participate for the first time!

Every Thursday, I’ll post a throwback travelogue about someplace visited many moons ago. There will be adventure. There will be recommendations and reviews. There will be photos!!

And what better place to start a series about my past adventures than the one that started it all? A one week road trip from Texas to New York City and back with only an atlas (this was before the days of Google Maps) that began less than two hours after it was decided.
